Insomnia sucks......

I'm tired, but wide awake.

I tried sex. Now my husband is peacefully out cold.
I tried a dull book. Now I'm wide awake and bored to boot.
I tried a cup of decaf tea (winter white Earl grey) with a dollop of warm milk. I'm pleasantly sated, but no closer to the arms of Morpheus than I was after screwing my husband. And I had to brush my teeth again which is counterproductive when I'm trying to get to sleep.

Oh great. Here's the cat, in major "pet me mode".

I'm doomed.

Perhaps we should be spending our night together. We might not get much sleep, but then how is that different from our reality of the last evening.

Perhaps we could find another way to keep ourselves amused. After all, there is always Pinocle!
