No, this is not who I saw on Saturday in downtown Fairfax. I got this one off of the net. However, this was kind of what I saw when I did my double take.

Just how often do city folk have pet goats, and how often do you find them out and about on a leash? There was a family who strolled past me, mom, dad and a teenaged son, each with a canine on leash, and then two younger girls each with kids on leash, he older girl with two kids walking obediently and the younger lagging slightly behind, her kid trying valiantly to drag her along to keep up with the dogs and the remainder of the family. This was one determined little goat, who obviously did not want to be left behind by the rest of her pack herd family.
