A digging fork? How thoughtful!

My husband got me a digging fork! I’m still working my way thru that patch of woody brush, and today I attacked it with the digging fork he picked up yesterday. I pulled up some big assed roots today. Some of them were as thick around as my wrist. I found one that snaked out 7 feet. It’s a hell of a lot of work, but I’ll probably not have to do this again next year.

The good news is I’ve pulled out 3/4 of the patch. The bad news? A) everything hurts & B) what’s left are the largest clumps with the oldest stumps. Tomorrow is going to be a bitch.

Now, where is the Tylenol?
