Cement pour....
Dec. 5th, 2017 01:23 amI spent the day at home, mostly cleaning. Vacuumed the carpets and floors. Swept off the cobwebs from thbehind ceilings. Did the dishes, cleaned the kitchen, did laundry, cleaned the bathroom, did some mending.
We’re putting a sun room/solarium at the back side of the garage. After building the form and pouring the two outer walls, the rebar & mesh are ready to the pour of the slab that will be the solarium’s foundation. This happens at 8 tomorrow morning. The workers all initially said they would crash the night here; none have. We shall see if they show on time. I’m anxious.
I’ve made b’fast for the morning. The coffee is in the drip on a timer for 6:45am. I made a batch of GF cheddar onion biscuits and steel cut oats (with cinnamon, raisins & candies ginger) are steeping in boiled water for the night. I’ll just have to heat it through In he morning.
Time to sleep.
