osodecanelaSo, with Romney now a footnote in history and the Democrats still in control of the Senate, there is now no real danger that the affordable care act (aka Obamacare) will not be implemented. By the time of the next midterms, major portions will have gone into effect like the state by state private exchanges that are supposed to be up and functioning by the first of 2014.
Finally, we're going to see this country coming much closer to universal coverage and as someone who spent a chunk for my 30's and early 40's uncovered, despite being a health care provider myself, it's something I cannot wait to see happen.
