My husband just went out to walk the dog. Just left me a little bit of solitude which I sort of need.
I have posted just how incredibly frightened, and vulnerable I feel since the election. I'm feeling marginalized, threatened and in many ways, defeated. But I hadn't cried, at least not until now.
I'd heard Kate McKinnon reprised he Hillary character on SNL last night, which was after I'd gone to bed, so I googled it this morning. She was at the piano singing Leonard Cohen's Haleluhah. That was when the tears started. I sobbed through the whole song. At the end she looked directly into the camera and said, "I'm not giving up & neither should you."
The question is, can I?
