In my late teens & twenties, the migraines were really limiting. At this point in my life they are infrequent inconveniences. The one the other day was my 3rd or 4th since I retired. Note, I was able to abort the migraine before the headache set in, while I was still having the visual aura. (Say Amen!)
You’ve never had coffee? Wow. Both my father & one of my sisters don’t care for coffee, but at least that was after trying it. I love a good cup of dark roast coffee & generally have at least a cup or two a day - just not after 6pm. I also like good tea, and generally have a cup or two daily as well.
There is a medical justification I give myself with regards to coffee; statistically, there’s less Parkinson’s disease in coffee drinkers. My grandfather and at least two of his siblings had it, so I generally make it my business to gave some daily.
