A day off.....
Apr. 12th, 2008 11:04 amI had planned to go to the gym today.
That is until I took a look at the blister on my left foot. Last night as I sat to take off my shoes, the mild burning on my left foot got worse when I took my shoes off. Theres a blister on the sole of my left foot, directly below the distal head of my first metatarsal (ie, the bone leading to my big toe). This morning the fluid in the blister has been resorbed, and the blistered callous on my foot has plastered itself to the tissue beneath. Much less tender than last night. There is however a wrinkle in the blister laterally, due to the stretch of the skin yesterday.
So, I'll take a bread from walking or the gym today and go back to it tomorrow foot permitting. Sigh. Not happy doing so at the moment, which on many levels really pleases me.
I've got the exercise bug back.
