Dare I hope?

osodecanelaJust got off of the phone with the oldest of my nephews. He was contacted out of the blue by a headhunter for a bay area investment firm; it appears someone noticed his work for the Atlanta firm he's working for now and they liked what they saw. He's had one phone interview so far, with a second scheduled for this coming Thursday. If that goes well, they'll fly him out for a face to face in the near future. If that one is a success, he could wind up here in the Bay Area sometime in the spring.
Seems the firm is particularly interested in employees with some ties to the Bay. When asked about that, he countered with, "my uncle has lived and practiced in the Bay Area for almost 30 years."
Of all my siblings' offspring, this is the one who has actively pursued a relationship with me; frankly, I would be thrilled if he were actually living nearby.
