Two months today.........
Dec. 3rd, 2005 03:36 pmDiabetic update.........
Started on the Byetta two months ago today. That was also 34 pounds ago as of this morning. I walk around feeling pleasantly full most of the time, while having eaten relatively little. Often I stop to think, "why did I eat so much?" only to realize that I haven't. I haven't seen a blood sugar result above 110, in I can't remember how long. Friends ask me to go out to eat and I as often as not, I try to find ways to get out of doing that. All and all, this is a good thing.
On the other hand I am now about to go out and purchase my 3rd month of the drug out of pocket as my insurance is still refusing to cover ANY of the cost of this medication. (Expletive deleted!) ON the upside, it IS becoming easier to see both my shoes and my genitalia (and I do so love watching a good blow job. It adds so much to the experience!).
