Near dusk on our first day in Maui, Dave (helpful 'island' guy next door) asks us what's on our dance cards for the evening and the week. We shrugged at first.
"No schedules and no expectations," I replied. "I want things somewhat spontaneous. If I decide to comb a beach one morning when I get up, then thats what I'll do, but if I want to sleep till 10, then that's the plan that morning."
"How about watching a sunset?" he countered.
