Happiness Meme- day #2

I was looking at the little things yesterday that make me smile. There was the chili-spiced dried mango, dipped in dark chocolate that disappeared way too quickly. There was the lady I delivered 17 years ago who showed up in my office for another pregnancy. There was the knitted project that got completed before I went to bed. What would make me smile when I awoke this morning?

All these paled to what made my day this morning. The smiling face of my husband who was waiting to give me a good morning kiss the moment I opened my eyes, wins this one hands down!

I'm one very lucky puppy!

To all knitters

Between the radiation and the chemo, my friends' mom's hair is gone. We're heading into our cold season here & I'm concerned about keeping her head warm.

I've finished two woolen caps for her so far & will crochet a tam for her in the next couple of days. Anyone out there have a pattern for headwear that will both be attractive & knit up quickly?
