I'm not sure what did it, though in reality its probably the combination of it all - the weather, the cleaning, the tiled floor, the lack of sleep.
Rob and Leigh Ann were over for supper last night. Rob, who installed our dishwasher, was going to fix the fridge door, so it closed properly and make it so the dishwasher didn't tilt forward when the racks were pulled forward.
After other responsibilities in the morning, I got home in the early afternoon and started to attack the kitchen. The place needed to be cleaned, the fridge emptied of any and all science experiments, the doors to the the freezer and the fridge emptied of everything, the dishwasher run and then emptied, etc., etc., etc. Doing mean prep and cleaning simultaneously, so I could have dinner ready to go when they got there was a challenge.
I was mostly done when they arrived.
Having a fridge that closes effortlessly again is a joy. Having a fridge with no science experiments? Even better.
When they left last night, I was toast. I was in bed 20 minutes after they left. 2 1/2 hours later I was wide awake due to the lightening storm. After an hour of lightening strikes and thunder, much to my relief the rain started. At around 3:30 I was able to go back to sleep.
I got up this morning and did the dishes from last night. Everything rinsed and gotten into the dishwasher, now easier to load as the machine no longer tilts forward. Yay.
I'm hoping the achyness eases with the day. This is getting old fast.
