It dawned on me....
Dec. 8th, 2013 12:03 amTime and practice conspired against my getting to the gym this week. I got walks in on Tuesday and Wednesday, but after a five mile run last Sunday they felt slothful.
I got there this morning and got in a 6 mile run, took slightly under an hour and a half. (1:27:30, but who's counting?) Thereafter I got called to the hospital for an admission.
I was on the way to meet my husband for dinner when it dawned on me 6 miles = 10 Kilometers. I ran me a 10k today! That's the dirt time in a very long time for me.
True to form, exercise remains an anorectic for me. My appetite at dinner was minor, enough that I decided to forego an entre, in favor of soup and a side. I had a resasonable lunch post work out - chicken and stir fried veggies, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but tonight, well I could have skipped dinner, had it not been for LJ's hunger, which is just as well. Had I skipped supper I would have bee ravenous in the morning.
I think I'll attempt another 10K tomorrow. We'll see how I feel at an hour.
