Three days in a row...
Jan. 17th, 2017 07:19 amI normally don't hit the gym daily. It's more like every other day. I'm trying to get fit and healthy, not overdo and hurt myself. With the rains and flooding, plus the work I'm doing on the new house, Monday was my last day till Saturday and since I had the opportunity, I went again yesterday as well as today. I stopped my run at 30 minutes today, @ just past a mile & a half and 350 kCal.
When I stepped on the scale at the gym it's taken another jog southward, another 2.5 lbs gone. That's 24 lbs since December 1, and likely about 30 since the middle of November.
Woo hoo! (Run Forest, RUN!)
Serously here, I'm jazzed, but even more importantly, I'm hopeful. For the first time in a very long time a return to a normal weight feels like a tangible goal and no longer 'pie in the sky', if you'll forgive the use of that hackneyed phrase, though honestly its usage fits here well. I, my health, & well being really have become one of my own major priorities. In the last 36 hours, I've run into two different people who had not seen me in the past couple of months. Both times I was asked how much weight I had lost, just one further confirmation the process is really happening.
