osodecanelaThe other night when I couldn't sleep, I wound up in front of the tube with the Food network on. Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. Now Guy Fieri is part of Sonoma Cty's local color. He owns 4 local eateries. I've literally walked in him at a local pizzeria. Twice.
Well he finally profile a place a stone's throw from the house, the Russian River Pub. Well that's where I met my husband for supper last night. And it was excellent!
We each had a pesto chicken breast sandwich with the side salad. Just scrumptious! The balsamic dressing they make themselves and it's superb.
I had never been there before. Yeah, it's relatively near by, but it does look like enough of a dive I had never stopped to eat. Well, that's now going to change. The prices were good, and the food even better.
