This stuff is evil! I know this is off the thread here, and I'm likely preaching to the choir, BUT didja know the stuff is highly linked to both gout and kidney stones? I was at a continuing medical education conference last year, where I found out that in gout susceptable people, HFCS raises uric acid levels, causing both an increase in gouty attacks as well as renal stones. Trust me, neither of these are things y'all want to experience first hand. I've had more men presenting to my office with gout in the past 6-7 years than I had seen in the previous 15. AND everyone of them that has cut HFCS out of their diets have not had an attack since.
Why is this stuff even legal? Once again another example of Caveat Emptor in the American marketplace.
