Tailgating....

Driving home last night, some dipstick decided to ride my fucking bumper literally from the time I got off of the freeway, until I got to Forestville. Brights on, shining right in my eyes courtesy of my rear view mirror. Dude, if I can see your face in my rear view at night, you're following way too close! Any closer and it would not have been tailgating; it would have been sodomy!
Now, I wasn't going slowly. I was right at the speed limit. I had my cruise control set for 55. I am NOT going to get another speeding ticket on River Road. And where there hell was a cop when you needed one? This turkey right on my tail with his brights on, and no cop anywhere in sight. My luck, or should I say, lack thereof.
I thought about pulling over to the side and letting this idiot pass me, but not on a country road at night. I was afraid if I pulled over without other people around, this turkey might pull off with me; having him on my bumper was as "up close and personal" as I wanted to get with this guy. I waited until I got to Berry's Market and could pull over in front of the place, where I knew I would not be alone. One can never be too careful, these days. I pulled over and he flew passed me. Still no cop in sight.
