Chocolate snow bear....

Not a specie of Ursus.

When my husband started growling at his computer, I headed for the kitchen. Something cold, with etoh and moderately sweet.

A chocolate snow bear.

French vanilla ice cream, amaretto, creme de cacao, a dash of vanilla, a dash of chocolate powder. Blend. Pour into a highball glass.

Stopped him from growling.

Not bad tasting. Would be better a bit thicker.

Wow... well, just tonight I made myself my first Aviation and loved it. I've been toying with the lemon juice amount but my first two were exciting. Now... this sounds like another one to try.

ya' know, I had key lime juice in the fridge which I subbed into the Aviation when I made them. In my humble opinion, it works very nicely.

what type of Creme de Violette did you use?

Not into sweet drinks, but v. much into EtOH. Will keep the recipe on hand for the man, since he is into sweet things, because he is very sweet.
