Yesterday the Los Alamos County Clerk got her wish; she said she was waiting to be sued before she would issue marriage licenses to same sex couples. She got sued. She was ordered by a district judge to issue a lesbian couple a marriage license and has done so.
Meanwhile Grant county in southwest NM on the Arizona has announced it will start issuing licenses to same sex couple.
We're up to 8 counties and with 56% of the state's population in them.
Meanwhile, in PA, Montgomery county's clerk will have his day in court. Hopefully, they will not stop him from issuing further licenses.
