osodecanelaI'm blissing out a bit over the lunch I just finished.
There's a place here in town that has made a very major point in accommodating celiacs. They make one helluva mean fish taco. They're the only folks I have ever seen do it with salmon and its been grilled to absolute luscious perfection, placed on a bed of undressed slaw atop a hand made corn tortilla and topped with an avocado salsa and a wedge of lime. Two come to an order and are accompanied with a side of frijoles negros (enteros) seasoned with comino and a few grates of cotija cheese. I also had a side of asparagus with carmelized onions.
My tastebuds are dancing in my mouth. I could really get used to eating like this. It's healthy and yet feels so decadent.
Did a 4 mile hike yesterday. No time for the gym this morning. Will go and get my run in at the end of the work day.
