Quote of the day.......
Dec. 11th, 2007 08:05 pm....Courtesy of James Earl Carter. In 1975, I was a senior at the University at Albany when Jimmy Carter came to speak. He was then on the campagn that eventually took him to the White House. I was taken by his manner and his honesty and worked to see the man elected. He remains a man I respect and whom I would welcome in my home, at my dinner table. Unlike so many currently in power, he has earned my absolute respect, and I believe speaks with honor and truth.
"War may sometimes be a necessary evil. But no matter how necessary, it is always an evil, never a good. We will not learn how to live together in peace by killing each other's children."
