I'm disgusted st the moment.
This past weekend saw a plane crash that took out the core of the Polish government. Ninety-four died on impact when the plane went down, ironically the delegation on their way to a memorial for 2000 Polish military murdered by the Russians at the end of WWII.
They lost their president & first lady, the joint chief of their military, prominent members of both houses of their legislature, local officials from all around their county, and from their judiciary. They lost a huge swath of their cultural icons and national talent. For Poland, this was an unparalled loss, clearly the most significant since '89, if not WWII.
How was this covered inour news media?
I expected to see this on the 1st page of the SF Chronical yesterday morning. Where was it?
Page 6. WTF?!?
I've seen next to nothing on most of televised media to boot.
And we wonder why we're referred to as ugly Americans.
