When my phone started acting up Friday, I really thought the problem was a hardware issue. I figured there was a physical problem where the cable plugs in. When I had the connection up for couple of hours yesterday morning (after playing with the cable and all 3 of my USB ports for half an hour), I decided to update there operating system just to see if it was going to fix the problem. I didn't expect it to work.
Well, if the last 24 hours is my new normal, the problem is fixed. (knock wood) The phone is now working with any cable, in any USB port on my PC.
