While I was laid up in the hospital 2 weeks ago, my husband was kind enough to bring me my knitting bag. This skullcap was his reward.

The flying goose pattern is a common theme from American made quilting for the past couple of hundred years. I decided to try my hand encorporating it into something knit. The ribbing is a 2-1 rib with a twisted cable. This was done with a worsted weight commecial yarn from Lion, on size 7 and 8 double pointed bamboo needles. The second shot is LJ in his cap.

Absolutely!!! :-) I love those types of kippot. The only kippot I won't wear are ones with the Israeli flag or anything that would politically support Israel as a homeland.
