My husband (um, it's hard to get used to but....), now fiance and I are taking the oldest three godchildren Sunday morning to Pride in SF. The girls at 14,6 and 5.
There's a children's garden in the civic center and adults can only enter if accompanied by a child. We'll be meeting our friends Nann and Shoshanah and their boys, who're 3 and 4 and celebrating the day together.
I'm just sort of numb and joyful and yes, proud. I'm soon to be a wedded gay man, who at 53 is having his taste of parenting (children, not a partner! I actually got a father's day card this year for the first time in my life.). Life is good and and so many ways more complete than I had ever dreamed it would be.
So I'm re posting the family "sticker" below. See y'all at Pride.
