Sept 12 & it's raining.….…

My husband & I were just awakened by thunder & lightening, things which are often bad news when you live in a western forest. It was enough of a warning to go pull the wash that was left on the line as well as some things that were out on the deck that are better off not getting wet. There is now a gentle rain going on and the light show that awakened us has ceased.

Please, I only hope I was right last week in thinking this forest is wet enough not to burn after a lightening strike or five.
