good day and bad....
Sep. 20th, 2011 12:14 amOnce again, I'm in the midst of another arthritic flare. It's my left wrist this time, just the radial side. It's been throbbing for the majority of the past several days and it's making me intermittantly miserable. I've doubled up on my Celebrex & with luck it'll quiet down soon.
*fingers crossed albeit with some difficulty*
I awoke with said wriston fire stiff, warm & slightly swollen.
And winter is months away. I hope this is not a harbinger of things to come.
As for the good, I'm definitely getting the new electronic medical record thing. I'm no longer daunted by it. Don't get me wrong. It's still an enormous undertaking, but I now can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I no longer think it's an oncoming train!
Oh, and my cooking skills may be stronger than I thought. I have a new young man who's doing data entry for me. He's Latino and a skilled home chef, at least with regard to Mexican cooking. He brought mole in last Friday, which was excellent. Well I made chili rellenos on Friday night and had the one left over for lunch today sauced in my homemade mole. I gave him a taste and he was impressed. When he asked who'd made it and I responded that I had, the wtf look on his face was just perfect.
