Reprise "The best thing about me is you"

osodecanelaI posted this last February. It was the first time I'd seen this Ricky Martin video and I just fell in love with it.
Much has happened since it was released; much has gotten worse. Partisan politics took a major turn to the right in this country, and now the pendulum of reaction finally seems to be swinging in the other direction, with voices on the left standing up in Wisconsin, Ohio & in the nationwide "Occupy Wall Street" protests. The Arab spring now segues into the Arab fall, with unrest re-igniting in Egypt and continuing in Yemen. DADT has fallen away, while the argument over Prop 8 drags on. Anyone on the ballot this fall and next will be grateful that "none of the above" is likely to be on the ballot along with them.
Still, the message in the video remains strong and hopeful and for that I re-post it (as much for me as anybody else).
