It's May 3rd.
And it's raining.

Not that the water isn't needed here, but our rainy season is supposed to be over.

I needed to replace my windshield wiper as it's toast, and I was holding off till this weekend when I go to get new tires.

Gonna be fun driving into work today.

Sheesh.

In the 28 years that I have lived in this county, there has been snow (other than on mountain tops) here 3 times. Twice there have been snow flurries in Guerneville, with nothing sticking to the ground (one of which appropriately was on X-mas day sometime back in the early 90's, and Petaluma had 3 inches in early February about 10 years ago.

I do not do snow willingly. Having grown up in the stuff, I had my share, but ever since developing my psoriatic arthritis, snow is something I choose to avoid.

The first weekend in May is usually when summer weather begins here.
