Words with Friends.....

I love Scrabble, so Words with Friends was an iPhone must for me. Mom and I did the NY Times crossword every Sunday when I was a kid (though not in ink despite what you may have heard). I did win the University newspaper crossword contest so many times when I was at SUNYA, that they disqualified me from entering after my Sophomore year. These days I doubt I would fair that well.




This past week I hit a new personal best score - I broke 600. I'd broken 500 a dozen or so times, but never come within shooting distance of 600, at least not until now.

Anyone up for a game? I'm there under the handle "Weaverbear"

By the way, Phil's mom (philbutrin's mom) still hands me my butt anytime I play her, as albadger usually does, and for certain, philbutrin, bigreddee and allanh give me a run for my money any time I play them.

Wordmaster? No, that one should go either to allanh or albadger. For sheer esoterica, they both have be beat hands down. Either one of them will have me going to the dictionary to look up a definition at least once per board.
