Coffee......

It's no secret I loves me a good cuppa joe, accent on the good. I'm also a tea lover and I go thru cycles where it's more of one than the other, but most days I have at least one to two cups of coffee. Ever since I read that coffee drinkers have a lower incidence of Parkinson's and since my paternal grandfather and a number of his siblings had it, I make it my business to enjoy my coffee.
A good friend sent me 3 varieties of piñon coffee last year for my birthday and then again beginning of this month, (¡muchisimas gracias, Jaime!) and it recently dawned on me, I had a tiny cone filter at home I never use there, for brewing a single cup or mug of coffee, if only I got the filters for it. #1 cones are hard to find, but #2 are at several of the local markets. With a hot water dispenser here in my office, it made sense to move everything here.
I'm kicking back for 10 minutes sipping a steamy cup of Texas piñon coffee.
I could get used to this.
