A federal district court judge overturned Texas' constitutional ban on marriage for same sex couples.
That's 4 states in 3 months - Utah, Oklahoma, Virginia and now Texas (all of them stayed pending appeals to the Appellate Courts - those are the 10th, 4th and now 6th circuits respectively).
It would appear Hell indeed, has frozen over.
I now cannot conceive that the issue of marriage equality is not going to wind up on the doorstep of SCOTUS in the next 2 years, if not in the next session starting this fall.
