Back to Scotus.

At their conference today, Scotus has agreed to grant cert on all four cases from the sixth circuit Court of Appeals. It will probably be her the last week in April with an opinion rendered the last week in June.

With 36 States now granting full marriage equality, There is no way in hell the Supreme Court is not going to extend this nationwide. Yeah, I know you cannot assume exactly what Scotus will do, but with the court currently composed as it is, I cannot fathom that marriage equality nationwide will not be the case come the beginning of July of this year.

When I think of where we were, of where I was just 40 years ago, I can scarcely believe where we are today.

... and here's hoping being on the losing end of a 5-4 over this drives Scalia absolutely mad. ;)
