Guilty Pleasures....

I loves me some dark chocolate. And I loves me some spice. AND I loves me some citrus!

Monday after work I did a fast run thru Grocery Outlet. If you have one near you I can recommend them highly - you never know what you'll find, but be warned, if you find something you really want, get it while you're there, because if you come back for more, 9 times out of 10, it'll be gone. There's always an interesting selection of organic, and gluten free items and always formidable savings. This last trip yielded a box of Dagoba Xocolatl Chocolate Bar - 12 2 oz bars of 74% dark chocolate, seasoned with chili, cacao nibs, spices and citrus oil. Elsewhere these are often $3 each; here they were half that price. I took the box.

I just broke into the first bar, savoring a 1/4 of it with a slice of candied orange. What a perfect end to lunch.

I'm not sure if I need a cup of joe right now, or a cigarette, but damn if this wasn't just short of a sexual experience.

I've been a GO slut since I first discovered them years ago. That go back for more thing has bitten me in the butt many a time especially when my closest one was 15 mins away. But... two years ago, they opened one less than a mile from here! And I am one of their most frequent flyers. Mine has a tone of gluten free and organic stuff as well.

Having celiac disease is unfortunately at times unnecessarily expensive. My Husband has looked at some GF purchases & said, "geez, the gluten was free, but everything else in this box cost a fortune! When I see stuff at GO like coconut flour at a fraction of th price elsewhere, I think pantry makeover time.
