I want that t-shirt!
Sep. 6th, 2007 09:46 amStopped on my way home last night at my morning coffee stop. It's on the main road in this sleepy litle riverside town, midway between Guerneville and Santa Rosa. The place at one time was a railroad station, in the days when there were trains running north from Marin county towards Mendocino and parts north. Sadly they're mostly gone. Today its a convenience store/deli/'hangout-on-the-porch' for the locals. Think "Cheers" meets a small town market. It's a place where the folks working behind the counter get to know you by first name, if you show up with any regularity. Love the place.
In any event, there was a very foxy, wiry, daddy type in a muscle tee, getting himself an evening coffee when I walked in. The shirt read, "So many right wing conservative Christians" in large black letters, and then in smaller print right below, "so few lions".

Now his both made me laugh, and left me with what I once called, 'impure thoughts' in the era I taught with the Christian Bros. (and I dare say your smiling face could do the same.)
