osodecanelaThe police officer that took my report last night, called to get my insurance policy number. While we spoke I asked how the guy fared once he got to the hospital.
The guy that hit me apparently broke his back in the accident. According to the officer, they did do a tox screen and alcohol was not found. He couldn't tell me if any other substances were found. He thought there was insurance, but the man was not licensed. A diabetic to boot.
Given what happened to him, I am truly counting my blessings.
