As it's been getting harder to read while wearing my glasses, thought it was time for some new specs. About 2 weeks ago, I logged on to Zenni Optical and found to my pleasure, buy 2, get a third pair free. I had wanted to get a pair of hingeless frames so that was on the agenda, as well as a pair of clear frames, plus something with a sunshade. I need bifocals, and in the past year I've found I needed a stronger script for readers, so all three pair are progressives (the no-line bifocal) at the higher reading strength. Total cost, (without insurance coverage) $117, which included sunshades for all pairs, plus the shipping. AND yay I will now be able read outdoors.



So these are the hingeless frames; below are the other two pair. The hingless and clear-framed pairs weigh in at about 1/2 an ounce each, while the pair with the sunshades are about an ounce without the sunshade and 1 1/2 with.
